it was not until 1984 when Microsoft release MS-DOS 3.0 for the IBM PC AT stand alone PC and MS-DOS 3.1
for networked PC's that the computer revolution really began
Microsoft released many versions of their MS-DOS to 1994 when MS-DOS 6.22 the last verion to be released.
MS-DOS remained the underlying operating system that Windows ran on until the release of Windows 95.
